How to change password of the domain user pem_admin?


  1. Make sure the latest MS Visual C libraries are installed on the service nodes:

  2. Download the password changer script to the OA Management Node, unpack it:

    [root@mn ~]# ll
    -rw-r--r--  1 root root 3978912 Oct 24 11:41 sc_config_pem_admin.exe
    -rw-r--r--  1 root root    4512 Oct 25 18:11
  3. Change the password for the pem_admin user on the AD side.

  4. Execute python script for each OA-managed node in the domain:

    [root@mn ~]# python -h
    usage: [-h] [--proxy PROXY] password host_id
    Tool for changing the pem_admin password.
    positional arguments:
      password       new pem_admin password
      host_id        Host ID
    optional arguments:
      -h, --help     show this help message and exit
      --proxy PROXY  Proxy server address. If not specified, it will be read from
                     the OA settings
    [root@mn ~]# python NewPassword 27
  5. Reboot node after the script completion.
