As of HSPcomplete version 3.3, you must use the /usr/sbin/ script to operate on templates.

The new utility supports EZ templates, recursive directory scanning, and importing OS/Application templates from Virtuozzo Hardware Nodes, providing all of the same functionality as the old script.

Detailed information regarding script usage can be found in the corresponding "perldoc" page on the HSPcomplete server: perldoc /usr/sbin/

Please make sure that the directory containing the uploaded templates (specified with the "-d" option) is accessible for the apache user; you may try to check the accessibility using the following command:
# su - apache
$ ls -l /path/to/templates/

  • Scan the /tmp/templates/ directory for new templates recursively, install these templates on the HSPcomplete system, and synchronize the newly installed templates with Hardware Nodes #1, 2:# install -d /tmp/templates -r -n 1 2
  • Install the single EZ template from the /tmp/redhat-as4-x86-ez-3.0.0-2.swsoft.noarch.rpm file: # install -f /tmp/redhat-as4-x86-ez-3.0.0-2.swsoft.noarch.rpm
  • Synchronize the postgresql EZ template from the RedHat AS4 distribution with Hardware Node #1, using Task Manager: # sync -p postgresql -D redhat-as-x86 -n 1 --async
